Who it is for

Retail and independent traders who already read candlestick charts and watch major FX or index CFD products during UK hours. You may be profitable in trending weeks but give back gains when volatility compresses and price chops inside a box.

This workshop does not teach platform setup or broker selection. It assumes you can load charts, adjust timeframes, and mark horizontal levels without step-by-step software guidance.

What you will work on

  • Identifying when a market has shifted from trend to consolidation
  • Drawing outer range boundaries that survive the next session
  • Marking reaction levels where price has turned at least twice
  • Planning entries at boundaries versus mid-range fades
  • Recording outcomes in a simple session journal template

Format and location

Duration: Two consecutive days, 09:30–16:30 GMT
Location: Dev Streamcore training room, 91OakfieldRoadHexhamNE462PL, with optional remote attendance via screen share for the second day only
Capacity: Twelve seats — chart exercises need facilitator attention
Materials: Printed chart booklets, markup pens, and a takeaway level-mapping worksheet

What is included

  • Live markup on instruments chosen by the group (typically major FX pairs)
  • Peer review of each participant's range definition from the prior week
  • Lunch on both days and annotated example charts to keep

What is not included

  • Trade signals, copy trading, or ongoing alerts after the workshop
  • Broker rebates, platform licences, or data feed subscriptions
  • Personal tax or regulatory advice related to your trading activity

Provider

Led by James Ellison, who has taught chart reading to private traders since Dev Streamcore was established in 2018. Sessions combine floor-style markup with quiet individual chart review.
